Yet another specialty packaging film, Immaculid is paper-coated with PVdC. Developed as lidding material for pharmaceutical blister packaging, Immaculid serves as an alternative to lidding aluminum foil where the drugs are packed in blister packs made out of PVC. It is ideal to pack drugs that require greater barrier than a PVC film, but not the ultra-high barrier of aluminum foil.
