Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers are used in place of conventional coil type glass condensers where large heat transfer areas are required in confined spaces.

Tube sheets are invariably 100% PTFE or Reinforced PTFE Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers Supplied by Sigma Glass are uniquely designed where the sealing is done with PTFE Ferrule only in some cases and in some cases with PTFE gland Packing and O rings.Also the tie rods are invariably PTFE with Glass spacer tubes.
