System description.    EuroEA3017/Prot is a compact, fully automatic, fast analyser for
very accurate N/Protein content determination. Â Â Â The straight-forward operation of this system is as follows: PC and Callidus software
fully supervise all operations and in 60 seconds automatically enters sample weights from
the balance, downloads pre-set parameters, activates the AutoSampler, controls the entire
combustion process, acquires and handles data from a sample sequence, and reports
results in one of several report forms. Sampling Integrity.    For maximum accuracy in the analysis of non-homogeneous
materials, 100-g of sample or more are processed and 10-100 mg are weighed, put in
standard tin cups and directly introduced into the AutoSampler. The Analyser, taking
advantage of TurboFlash Combustion Technology independently setting oxygen volume
and pressure, assures complete combustion. This revolutionary technique gives maximum
unattended runs and extreme accuracy both for homogeneous and non homogeneous
sample. TurboFlash Combustion.    This new patented technology dynamically combust sample in
the most difficult matrices. Specific catalysts ensure that the conversion of the sample
into the combustion gases is truly quantitative. CO2 and moisture are automatically
removed by a single-step selective adsorption, leaving only Nitrogen in the Helium
carrier flow. A high sensitivity TCD detector accurately measures N-Protein. Results are
presented as percent protein content, your choice of report format is provided by the
software. No methane is formed and no chromatographic column is required. The
